Meet Derek Cormier
Derek Cormier built Climate Experts Air, Plumbing & Electric from one truck into a multi trade home service company with 75+ team members across HVAC, plumbing and electrical.With more than 20 years in the trades, Derek has worked in the field, sold jobs, answered the phones, hired and trained teams, built departments and learned what it actually takes to grow a business beyond the owner. He holds contractor licenses across the trades in Florida, is a Nexstar Network member and serves in leadership roles within the industry.He doesn’t teach theory. He teaches what actually works inside a real home service company.Today, Climate Experts has a leadership team, including a General Manager and COO, running the day to day operations of the company. That allows Derek to focus on working on the business, developing its leaders and helping other contractors build the same kind of freedom into their companies.Through Escape the One Man Show, Derek helps contractors build stronger teams, better systems, healthier financials and the leadership structure needed to create a company that doesn’t depend on the owner for everything.
